argon18 widgets

Below are a few of the widgets i've developed. They are released under the gnu GPL or the BSD License, please check the source code if you are planning to reuse the code. Feel free to download, use and share the widgets*.

My widgets have been featured on the cover CD of UniversMac magazine (#160 - May, 2005), and the cover CD of Macworld magazine (July, 2005).

iTCMThe iTunes Connection Monitor widget allows you to see who is connected to your iTunes shared library and which songs are being listenned to. This widget was an Apple Featured Download on April 29th, 2005 and featured in the September 8, 2005 Apple eNews. Click here to download version 1.7 (102KB)

I've heard a lot of complaints from users that the iTCM widget does not work for them... to that, all I can say is, "sucks to be you." I wrote the widget for personal use and it works just fine for me on a clean install of 10.4.6 intel updated to 10.4.10. It has also worked through various iTunes updates. I cannot "fix" the widget when i have no access to a "broken" one, so you're more than welcome to give me a mac loaded with an environment where the widget does not work.

md5The MD5 Hash widget calculates MD5 hash values from a given string of text. Click here to download (16KB)

The SHA1 Hash widget calculates SHA1 hash values from a given string of text... it's based on the md5 hash widget, so that's why it looks similar, but it's red... cuz ya know, red is the new black... or whatever. Click here to downlaod (13KB)

* Note: Recently i have started receiving emails and calls in regards to selling these widgets. I am not interested in selling these widgets or making any sort of financial profit from them. They have been released under Open Source licences so that others can use, enjoy, and modify them freely. It's my way of making the world a better place. If you would like to hire me and pay me tons of cash to develop new widgets or web applications, i'd be happy to entertain your offer.
