THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional candidate to join our Canadian sales team as the Inside Sales Representative. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Inside Sales Representative will work in partnership with the Sales Manager, Canada to effectively manage business relationships and maximize sales. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering quality service to dealers, federations and riders. They will act as the point of contact to support with sales order processing, warranty claims, commercial gesture, small parts orders, and other customer services inquiries for the Canadian market.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with existing dealers, primarily by phone and email, to increase sales revenue and achieve quarterly and annual budgeted targets.
- Establish and maintain a trustworthy relationship with dealers and federations, by providing quality service and support;
- Support the outside sales by ensuring orders are properly entered in the ERP or treated via the B2B site, proactively informing dealers of issues or back orders, and proposing satisfactory solutions;
- Clearly explain the sales program, including terms and conditions, offered to dealers;
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of the customer files in the ERP system;
- Respond to customer inquiries and process warranty claims submitted via the CRM;
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure, sales orders, customer service requests and commercial gestures are handled in a timely manner;
- Inform the appropriate persons (Product, R&D, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) of customer feedback with regards to price, products, quality, service, logistics, etc.;
- Maintain technical knowledge up-to-date on various product lines;
- Contribute to improving the internal processes to ensure quality service to customers.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Post secondary education in related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working in sales and/or customer service in a B2B environment, bicycle industry experience an asset.
- Proven track record in managing and growing customer accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and spoken English and French language skills.
- Ability to travel and flexibility to adapt work schedule to attend events (evenings and weekends) approximately 5% of time.
